Save Over $9,000 With
State Government Rebate
CURRENT REBATES MAKE THIS THE BEST TIME EVER TO INSTALL SOLAR -
The California Energy Commission (CEC) is offering cash rebates on eligible renewable energy electric-generating systems through the Emerging Renewables Buydown Program.
CEC recently approved an increase in rebates from $3,000/kW to $4,500/kW, or 50 percent of the installed system purchase price (whichever is less).
SAVE THOUSANDS ON YOUR ELECTRIC BILLS -
Based on CEC's estimated annual production factor 1,750 kWh/1kW system, a 2.4 kW system can produce approximately 4200 kWh/year (350/kWh) of electricity that you do not have to pay PG&E, SCE or LADWP. At $0.20/kWh this equals electricity value of $840/year, $70/month and $21,000 over the 25 years that Siemens warranties solar module productivity.
LADWP CUSTOMERS RECEIVE REBATES UP TO 85% OF SYSTEM COSTS - Siemens manufactures locally in Los Angeles (Siemens acquired ARCO Solar business.) Customers installing Siemens systems in the LADWP operating region are entitled to rebates from LADWP of 85%. ($6/watt, vs. standard $4.50/watt) This 85% rebate is available only until the end of 2002.
2.4kW SYSTEMS AVAILABLE NOW! - Reserve your rebate and order your system now. ABC Solar will help you select the system size right for your needs. We will also assist you in completing the rebate reservation form. Call 310-373-3169 or email us now.
Funds are limited and incentives are reserved in the order requests are received. So order now!
Siemens Solar electric systems have been designed to provide an efficient and convenient source of environmentally-safe "green" power for residential and commercial users. The system is designed as strictly a supplemental power source which produces electricity - matched to local utility power in voltage, frequency, and phase. Systems can be expanded as required. As a guide, use 12 square feet of roof for each 100 watts of AC power required.
NEW 15% CALIFORNIA STATE TAX CREDIT
Save even more. On October 9, 2001, Governor Gray Davis signed
legislation (SB 17xx) which allows a 15 percent state tax credit (dropping to 7.5% in 2004) for
solar and wind systems electricity systems based on post-rebate costs. That legislation can be
found here (SBX2-17).
Please check with your tax consultant to see if you are eligible for this credit.
HOMEOWNER FINANCING AVAILABLE -
Solar rooftop systems are eligible for home improvement loans; check with your financial institution regarding home equity loans or second mortgages.
NO OBLIGATION - Forms are available online, and take only a short time to complete. The government review process takes about 1-2 months. Once approved you have months to complete your installation, after a successful inspection of which you will receive your rebate for up to 50% or more of total costs. If you decide not to install solar there is no obligation (obviously no rebate either).

Calculations above are shown on per DC Watt installed basis. Installation charges are extra, and generally qualify as part of cost base for rebates. In the rebate calculations above cost of installation is assumed to be sufficient to recover the full $4.50/AC watt or $6.00/AC watt maximum rebates. Rebates are calculated by CEC, LADWP on an adjusted AC Watt production basis.
