Vertical Solar Panels do make energy. The basic vertical
solar design consideration is that an South West and
South East facing wall will be 60% of optimum, which is a
South pitched at 18 degrees.
A vertical West wall will produce 52% and a Solar South wall will produce 58%. North is beautiful, but does not produce much power. (unless you are in Australia...)
